Landmark Riverside is located on Nanbin Road, forming the Golden Triangle region of Chongqing with Jiangbeizui CBD and Jiefangbei CBD. The project takes a site of 3,366,000 sq. m with a construction area of 1.5 million sq. m. (1.2 million sq. m as residential and 0.3 million sq. m as commercial), Landmark Riverside aims to be developed in phases.

Landmark Riverside not only enjoys a unique natural landscape (the intersection of Yangtze River and Jialing River), but also has rich historical and cultural resources - the Old Street and the French Navy Barracks in particular. Hundred years ago, the area had rich neighbourhood, inhabited by dignitaries and wealthy celebrities. It was also the first place open to the foreigners owing to it being home to the most famous wharf in southwest China. Furthermore, the area is marked by the footprints of literary giants such as Mr. Mao Dun and Mr. Lao She.

In addition, the government has planned to build a square within close proximity to the project as the landmark of Chongqing. The square will be a must-see scenic spot for locals and the tourists alike.

Landmark Riverside is designed by Paul Andreu whose signature projects include Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris; the National Grand Theater, Beijing and Pudong Airport, Shanghai. Landmark Riverside is intended to achieve chief riverside city complex status and become a landmark of Chongqing, know by all to be a riverside home to a high-end residential community and unique commercial street.

Adjacent to the French Navy Barracks, Phase 1 of the project enjoys wonderful river views. Phase 1 also takes advantage of the exquisite natural terrain, forming a unique layout and it will be launched in early 2012.
